This swords blade
is forged from ASSAB K-120C powdered Swedish steel. It is then tempered
using traditional clay methods that date back to 700A.D. When finished
the sword has a 60RC cutting edge to make those cuts, but maintains a
40RC body for shock absorption. It is an excellent blade to use in your
tameshigiri.
Collectors won’t feel left out with this sword either. Along with
the beauty of its handforged blade it has many other fine qualities for
show. There’s the premium black silk ito (braid) that wrapped around
the genuine rayskin that adds both form and fuction. The gold tigers on
the tsuka (handle), and on the tsuba (guard) also add to the beauty of
this sword. This sword comes complete with a sword care kit, and a sword
