This selection of Hanwei swords are the most popular Chen katana. They are forged as accurate possible, functional and fit in any Budo practitioner's buget or that of the occasional sword collector. All of these katanas are differentially clay hardened and does have a real hamonline. Yes, the hamon on all of these samurai swords is enhanched, which mean that acid is used to bring out the natural Hamon and make it much more visable after polishing. The practical Xl light katana and the Practical Plus Elite katana are especially designed for intens cutting exercises (tameshigiri).
