Oil
This bottle
of Sword Oil is specially formulated to provide corrosion protection for
high-carbon steel blades and other edged weapons. Ideal for covering exposed
metal guards and wire-wrapped grips, and various scabbard components.
Always keep
in mind that while a sword may be a beautiful piece of art, it is primarily
a weapon. Always be alert & careful and Do NOT test it for sharpness by
running your thumb along the edge.
Rust
is the major enemy of a Japanese sword blade. The best course of action
is to prevent rust rather than to have to remove it. If possible the sword
should be kept at relatively constant temperature and humidity. A thin
coat of this sword oil is all that is needed
